Systems Engineer & Programmer
Building systems that work and websites that last —
from hardware to HTML, infrastructure to interface.
I'm a Systems Engineer and IT professional based in Freeport, NY with over 15 years of experience across hardware builds, network infrastructure, scripting automation, and full-stack web development. I like to understand how things work at every layer — from bare-metal hardware to the browser rendering a finished interface.
Over the years I've built and deployed internal IT tooling, client-facing websites, network monitoring systems, and automation pipelines — always writing clean, maintainable code that actually solves a problem. This portfolio is a snapshot of that work.
15+ years across IT infrastructure, systems engineering, and full-stack web development — these are the tools I reach for every day.

Custom external stylesheets with element, class, and ID selectors. Box model, typography, HEX & RGB colors, backgrounds, transitions, and animations.
80%Scripting and automation are where I'm most at home — from Bash scripts that handle system tasks to Python for data parsing, infrastructure tooling, and workflow automation.
90%Hands-on experience configuring and managing network infrastructure — switches, routers, VLANs, and troubleshooting connectivity issues across complex environments.
88%Custom PC builds, server configuration, OS deployment, and administration across Windows and Linux. If it can be built or broken, I've probably worked on it.
92%Mobile-first layouts using CSS Flexbox, Grid, and Bootstrap 5 — with media queries across multiple breakpoints so every page works on every screen.

Designed and built a browser-based asset management dashboard for tracking hardware inventory across a multi-site environment. Replaced spreadsheet-based tracking with a live interface pulling from a local database, with role-based views for techs vs. management.
Built a lightweight, self-hosted network monitoring web portal that aggregates ping status, uptime metrics, and alert history for all managed devices on a LAN. Automated alert delivery via SMTP using a Python backend with a scheduled cron job for polling intervals.
Developed and deployed responsive websites for multiple local business clients across Long Island — covering services, contact, galleries, and Google Maps integration. Built on a custom HTML/CSS template system for rapid client deployment with minimal overhead.
Wrote a suite of Bash and Python scripts to fully automate workstation provisioning — including OS configuration, software package installation, network profile setup, and domain join. Reduced average new machine setup time from 2 hours to under 15 minutes.
Designed and maintain a full homelab running Proxmox VE with multiple VMs and LXC containers — including a pfSense firewall/router, VLAN-segmented network, self-hosted services (DNS, NAS, VPN), and automated snapshot backups. Used as a staging environment for new tools before enterprise deployment.
Designed and built this portfolio from scratch — semantic HTML5, a fully custom external stylesheet, CSS Grid and Flexbox layouts, Bootstrap 5 components, responsive design across all breakpoints, HTML5 form validation, and embedded multimedia. No templates, no page builders.
